Cybercrime is a type of crime that involves a computer and a network. Cybercriminals generally use modern telecommunication networks such as the internet or mobile phones. Whereas cybersecurity means the ability to protect or defend the use of cyberspace from cyberattacks.
I researched about cybersecurity to understand why it is needed and why it is created so that I can develop a game to show/educate an audience who is using digital and social platforms.
VIEW THE MOODBOARDIn visual novels there is a first-person manner, the player acts as the protagonist. Characters in the games directly talk to the first person, the player. So the player can get a feeling of “you are there”. It is been like this to foster involvement. Also to foster interactivity, one of the main focuses of the visual novels is non-linear branching storylines.
This project's main goal is to create a visual novel for teens and young adults to understand, be aware of, and consider what is cybercrime, where the future of cybercrime is heading and the risks that it carries.
